NCV8876 non-synchronous boost controller operating input voltage range is 2 volts (V) to 44 V, with automatic wake-up and shutdown functions, it is designed to provide the minimum output voltage during the start-stop condition of the car to cope with the car battery voltage Sudden drop. When the supply voltage drops below 7.2 V, NCV8876 starts; once this voltage drops below 6.8 V, the boost operation starts and NCV8876 drives the external N-channel MOSFET. This also ensures that it is protected under current fault conditions, that is, when the current limit is exceeded, the power switch is turned off for the remainder of the switching cycle.
NCV896532 2.1 megahertz (MHz) switching frequency dual-channel buck DC-DC buck converter is designed for use in complex driver assistance systems integrated in today's automobiles. Both of its channels are externally adjustable (range 0.9 V to 3.3 V) and can supply up to 1,600 mA. The synchronous rectification function enables this device to improve system energy efficiency. The device also incorporates integrated soft-start, cycle-by-cycle current limit, and over-temperature shutdown protection functions, indicating that the device is ideal for applications in strict automotive environments. Both NCV8876 and NCV896530 support a junction temperature range of −40 ° C to 150 ° C.
